With my award, I’m performing cello-piano recitals in Missoula (9/22), Kalispell (9/23), Helena (9/25), Fort Benton (9/26), and Billings (9/27) alongside a pianist from Chicago, Brian Locke. The award came from funding from the Covid-relief American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the arts council distributed over $800,000 dollars to arts projects across the state. ML: Could you give us a little background on what inspired this project?
